Occasionally, someone will tell me about a horse for sale that I feel other people may be interested in. If I feel that the owner is honest, and the quality
of the horse is decent, I will put their information on this page so that interested folks may see it. I do not make any guarantees on any of these horses,
because in most cases, I have not ridden and usually not even handled the horse. You may contact me regarding any of these horses, and I will put
you in contact with the owner.

Peppy
Date of Dirth Mar. 15, 2001. 14 hands
-950 - 1000 lbs. - sorrel -
barefoot - 1 year. Great hoofs and
soles - easy keeper - sound and is a
cutie. Shots up to date 1-25-10
teeth done with sheath cleaned Dec.
09. I have had him for 2 years. If
you know about Peppy's, you
know they are special. They like to
move, curious, williing, fun, and need
direction and purpose.
He had gone on a few trailrides and
did well. Previous owner indicted they
were roping on him. I found
that really juiced him up. I have been
working on being calm and you don't
have to go all the time.
It would be good if you are patient,
loving and a good leader. He can test
you to see if you are a
leader. He learns fast and you will
have a lot of fun on this horse.
This is my grandaughter's horse she is
going to be 10 now. She does pretty
good on him. But right
now an adult needs to work and see
were he is for them.
He is sweet and has been handled with
love and respected. I would like to see
that the person who wants
this beautiful horse, be the same way.
He is worth that and more. Asking
$3000

Tinkers Desert Dusty - registered 6
year old APHA mare. She is a dun
tobiano with some dappling on one of
her back legs. 15 hands and does
tend to want to be around the boys if
they are in sight. Very stout, well built
mare best suited for an intermediate or
abover rider (she is still young, and
with some more miles would probably
be good for a beginner, but not without
a little bit more work). She had a filly a
year ago (a smoky grulla dun) and was
a great momma. Would work great for
someone's breeding program too, if
that's what you were looking for.
Pictures include her when she had her
filly, who is also for sale. Asking $2250
obo for Dusty, or would consider a
package deal with her daughter Desert
Dusty Mist. Contact if you have any
questions.

This is Biscuit. He is a true black full
blooded TB with a white star on his
forehead. My sister-in-law had
renamed him Diamond. He's been a
children's lesson horse and a trail
horse. His previous owner even said
he had some dressage training. He's
in his 20's, but is still able to be ridden
and hasn't shown any signs of
pain/arthritis. A couple of summers
ago, my nephew (beginner teen rider)
rode him in playdays. He does really
well on group trail rides and even down
the road. He's not as crazy about
riding alone, but he will do it. My
sister-in-law is a timid rider and she
was comfortable on Biscuit. My
nephew is a complete beginner and he
rode him alone and with groups.
Biscuit loves baths and attention and is
calm and easy to do anything with. He
loads like a dream and is extremely
easy to catch. He's very personable
and loves and trusts people.
Biscuit needs to have more than just
pasture and hay to keep his weight on.
I'm giving him beet pulp, alfalfa cubes,
and Purina strategy Healthy Edge
twice a day. He can and does eat hay,
but needs his teeth floated. Coggins
and hoof trimming are up to date. For
Biscuit to be happy, he needs a home
that has at least one other horse and
he needs to be pasture kept (not
stalled). Biscuit will weave if kept in a
small confined space like a stall or a
round pen. Contact Deanna at
txhorseluvr23@yahoo.com.

9 yr old Quarter Horse gelding for sale,
15 hh, he will need a
confident/experienced rider. This
horse is very smooth riding and would
make an excellent trail horse. He
loads easily, ties, bathes and stands
for the farrier. He's been out to
pasture for over a year, I bought him
with 2 other mares as a package deal,
problem is, he is not a kids' horse. We
have had him with a trainer for 2 weeks

Sandy came to me from someone that
could no longer care for her. She is
still putting on weight and coming
along nicely. Sandy is about 19 years
old, utd on all shots/coggins/teeth
floated and feet trimmed-dewormed.
She would make a great first horse for
a young rider or a beginner rider or an
older adult. Has a very nice trot, and
lope. She is an excellent trail horse
and very gentle. Loves to be loved on
and is not the alpha mare. Sandy had
a hind leg injury repaired at A&M many
years ago which she fully recovered
from. She is sound and ready for find
her happy home. She rides in a
snaffle and is about 15 hh. Asking
