Occasionally, someone will tell me about a horse for sale that I feel other people may be interested in. If I feel that the owner is honest, and the quality of the horse is decent, I will put their
information on this page so that interested folks may see it. I do not make any guarantees on any of these horses, because in most cases, I have not ridden and usually not even handled
the horse. You may contact me regarding any of these horses, and I will put you in contact with the owner.

My name is Smurfy. I’m looking for a
new home. I’m happy, cute and
willing. My parents were Peppy’s,
“San Peppy “ and “ Mr. SanPeppy” on
both sides. I have had my shots and
my teeth have been recently
floated. I’m barefoot and have great
hoofs. I’m just 14 hands and am an
extrovert with left and right brain
responses. I have had some Parelli
work. I’m very good around other
horses with good ground manners. I’
m just 10 years old, but feel younger.
Look at my picture and see if I am the
horse for you. Please have
experience in riding and caring. I have
been loved and well taken care of and
am sound of body.
As the owner of Smurfy. I love this boy
and wish for the right person to enjoy
and have fun with him. I feel he would
make a wonderful performance horse
or on barrels.
Smurfy is going for $3500 - Contact at

Little Bear - 2 y/o tovero paint gelding. Sweet and gentle, easy to
handle, smart and willing. Slow and lazy, not spooky, not aggressive
to other horses and a dream to handle! Loads great, good for the
farrier, is going to grow up to be an awesome horse! Only $500!

Angel - 14 year old tobiano palomino paint half Arabian mare
(registered half Arab and pinto horse). Her sire was straight Egyptian
Arabian and her dam was a grade palomino paint. She's about 15
hands and a fairly stocky build. She has no buck, bite, or rearing
and is on the low end of the pecking order. She's very sweet but
because she gets pushed around, you have to shoo off the others to
get ahold of her. Angel can be a little on the lazy side. She's great
on the trails and I have yet to have her spook at anything. I would
keep her because she is really good out and about but I already
have a gelding that is like that and really just need to narrow down
the number. Her previous owner used her mostly for trail rides. She's
an easy keeper. My horses who are usually rolling fat are having a
little bit of a hard time keeping fat, but she doesn't seem to be
having much trouble. She had one filly before that turned out to be a
cremello paint. Asking $1200 obo.
Stormy - 6 year old cremello mustang with all paperwork from when
she was captured in Oregon. She was out of the Palomino Buttes
herd. Her eyes are almost have a green tint to the blue (when
compared to the other blue-eyed horse I have). She's probably
about 15 hands as well and is built nicely. Extremely personable and
friendly. Always the first one to greet you at the gate (I joke that if
you ask someone to pick which was the mustang, they'd probably
pick her last based on personality, although she looks like a
mustang). Had all the groundwork and basics done on her. Not sure
if she's been saddled and ridden, but we have ridden her bareback
twice. She's had at least one colt with a sorrel Arabian stallion, so
the colt was palomino (and weaned just before I got her). She seems
to be easy to work with and she'd also be great for breeding. I just
don't really have the time to put into working with her on a regular
basis. She's really gorgeous, which is why I took her, but there's just
so much going on out here and not any excessive pasture to keep
her around if I'm not going to breed her or spend time riding her.
Asking $750 obo.
Both mares came from the same place and are good about
trailering. The previous owner only had a two horse straight load so
they load and back off the trailer. Stormy doesn't really like to just
stand there on an unmoving trailer by herself. She just won't sit still,
nothing horrible. Haven't had a farrier out personally because they
were already taken care of when I got them, but they don't seem to
have any issues with me messing with their feet. Both Angel and
Stormy haven't freaked out when family has gone dove hunting right
there in the pasture next to them. In fact, Stormy walked right up to
my dad when he walked through with a gun, however I'm sure they
would still need work before anyone would shoot OFF of them or
anything. I would also be willing to do a package deal on Angel and
Stormy for $1700 obo.
Wildfire - Coming 6 year old registered APHA black overo. Born and
raised on our ranch (I still own her mother). Had at least 90 days
professional training at almost 3 years of age. Has been ridden on
trail rides, including the Relay for Life trail ride hosted by Renee Ilse.
Doesn't seemed to be phased by much. Very little spook if any (at
least in my experience). Has the potential to be a good show horse
or maybe even cattle horse (I was going to send her for cattle work
training if I kept her). She likes to try to be lazy, but has some speed
when you convince her to use it. Loves people and attention (pocket
pet type). Not a dominant mare, but not a pushover in the herd
either. Easy to worm and doctor. Good for the farrier. Trailers well,
though she inherited pawing in an unmoving trailer from her mother
(my competition/show horse). SHOULD be homozygous to throw
paint foals as both her parents are (but I'm not guaranteeing it). She
does well for as little riding and attention as she gets and for a
young horse has usually been very consistent when being ridden.
She's a great horse that does show a lot of potential, but she and I
don't always see eye-to-eye. I really hate to see her go and my
husband told me he'd like to keep her for himself, but he has yet to
even step foot in her pasture, so she's just going to waste. I'm in no
hurry to part with her, so she's only to the right home. Asking $1500
obo. Would be willing to make package deals if interested in more
than one horse (and of course a deal for all three!).

KISSY (above)
Breaks our hearts to sell our beloved Kissy who we've had for nine
years, but we have seven horses and no grass.
Kissy is a very versatile 15-year-old mare. Black and shiny, she is a
stand-out beauty at 13.3 hands and can be ridden in both Western and
English. Very smooth riding with a canter to die for. Rides in a snaffle
and is very responsive - quick turns and stops. My daughter sometimes
rides her bareback in a halter. Very sound and no health problems.
Kissy has been ridden in English pleasure, playdays, team penning, drill
team, and trail riding. She won 2010 reserve champion in the
intermediate women class for our playday series, won fastest time in the
student class at a team penning, and placed third in English pleasure at
a horse show.
Kissy has too much go for a beginner but would be fabulous for an
intermediate rider who is looking for a responsive horse that really wants
to please you. She loves people and food, and we sometimes forget that
she's a horse and not a dog. Would keep her if my daughter wasn't
getting so tall. $2,500
